This three-day hands-on course is designed to provide attendees with a comprehensive introduction to the Pivotal Container Service (PKS). Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of the PKS enterprise-grade Kubernetes environment and practical experience deploying a range of applications and services. Each day is organized into four modules including a hands-on lab exploring the key topics covered in the lecture. Day one of the course covers the PKS platform architecture and foundational components such as Bosh, Kubernetes, and Harbor. Day two focuses on application deployment and service interaction. The course concludes with a look at key platform services such as security, state management and a range of other minor topics necessary to round out the PKS overview. Upon completion of the course, attendees will have the skills and information necessary to begin working with the Pivotal Container Service in a production setting.
