High performance teamwork seldom happens on its own – it requires focus, discipline, energy, and a bit of TLC. Relationships, communication skills, problem solving acumen, and strategy development all have a role in the production and productivity of every team; the best teams attend to each of these areas deliberately and with a vision towards awe-inspiring success. Because teams are often formed for specific projects/issues and typically are short-lived, the basics of excellent teamwork are a required skill set for any potential team member. The Designing and Leading High Performance Team workshop is designed to enable participants to quickly assimilate and leverage the keys to successful teamwork. Content includes team and teamwork theory, a review of the relationships that can make or break a team, strategies for leveraging the strengths of team members, and a framework for team planning.
